No response yet from Home Depot
An update to my earlier post about Home Depot:
I called the store this morning to speak to the manager. Sat on hold for 15 minutes (I timed it) only to be told the manager was out of the store at a meeting.
Left my name and phone number.
Had a hit to this blog from Home Depot's HQ in Atlanta at around 11 a.m. central. So someone read my complaint. I'll let you know if I get any response from either the manager or someone at HQ.
And here's an interesting story from BusinessWeek -- in June, it reported that Home Depot ranked last in a list of major American retailers in customer satisfaction.
